Columbia, MD : 1 dead, 2 injured after Sunday morning collision in Howard County on October 19, 2014

Police say an early morning crash in Howard County left one person dead and two others injured. Howard County police say 29-year-old Nicholas Thomas Morrison was driving a 2002 Nissan Frontier westbound on Guilford Road in Columbia just after 4:30 a.m. on Sunday when the car veered off the roadway and struck a tree. Police say Morrison was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police say two passengers, 26-year-old Francis Everett and 19-year-old Stewart Garland, were transported to Shock Trauma in Baltimore.
