SHASTA COUNTY, CA : Man killed in scooter crash on Highway 299 in Shasta County on Monday, 14th October 2024

Authorities say a man is dead following a scooter crash on Highway 299 west of the Pit One Grade near the Pit #1 Powerhouse Monday.

The California Highway Patrol says that at around 5:14 p.m., dispatch received reports of a motorcycle accident on Highway 299 west of the Pit One Grade.

Authorities say that officers from the CHP and deputies from the Shasta County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the scene of the accident.
