CHENEY, WA : Cheney Police search for hit-and-run suspect on Saturday, 5th October 2024

Police are searching for a driver suspected of a hit-and-run that happened on Saturday evening, according to Cheney Police Department.

Around 6:45 p.m. on October 5, CPD responded to a reported hit-and-run near 1st Street and College Hill Street in Cheney.

A person was walking in the crosswalk when they were hit by a car headed southbound on 1st Street.

Witnesses told CPD the car slowed down but did not stop after the crash.

The victim was taken by ambulance to the hospital, treated for several injuries and is in stable condition.
