MINOT, ND : Semi stuck under bridge for hours on Tuesday, September 5, 2017

A semi became stuck under a bridge in southwest Minot on Tuesday morning and blocked the road for several hours.

The accident on the 6th Street SW bridge caused traffic to be closed in the northbound lanes.

Due to the amount of damage to the trailer, the property on board had to be unloaded prior to being able to remove the semi truck, according to Minot police.

Police said the semi was finally moved at about 2:45 p.m.
