STAMFORD, CT : Car crashes into garage in North Stamford on Sunday, 29th November, 2020

A two-car garage attached to a North Stamford home was left in unstable condition after a vehicle slammed into it Sunday afternoon, fire officials said Monday.
Firefighters were called to the residential home on Lynam Road at 4:40 p.m. Sunday after the crash occurred, Deputy Fire Chief Matt Palmer said in a statement.
Upon arrival, firefighters found a significant amount of damage to the area around the home and began efforts to stabilize the garage, Palmer said.
