Quitman , MS : 8-year-old girl killed in wreck after she thrown from vehicle in east Mississippi along Highway 513 on Early Saturday , February 21st 2015

A child has died after the force of a wreck threw her out of a vehicle in east Mississippi.

The Meridian Star reports (http://bit.ly/1zYI32W ) the wreck occurred early Saturday on Highway 513 in Quitman.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol says the 26-year-old driver, Cornella Robinson, lost control of the 2000 Honda Accord and it hit a tree. The child who died was 8-year-old Marveanna Tillman.

The patrol says a 5-year-old and a 6-year-old, who were also passengers in the car, were injured, as was Robinson.
