WAYNE COUNTY, OH : Man killed in car crash in Wayne County, authorities say on Saturday, November, 4th 2017
A 24-year-old man was killed after he crashed his car early Saturday morning, according to the State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened about 2 a.m. on Centerville Road near Jefferson Road in Clinton Township, according to a news release from the Highway Patrol. This is the 13th fatal crash in Wayne County this year, the release says.
Jordan Ryan Lee Sinnett was taken to Wooster Community Hospital where he was pronounced dead, the release says. He was not wearing his seat belt when the crash happened.
Speed and impairment are believed to be factors in the crash, the release says.
Sinnet was driving his 2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo approaching Jefferson Road when he lost control of the car and drove off the side of the road, the release says.
He hit a fence, guardrail and a traffic sign before he overturned, the release says.
Clinton Township EMS and fire were on scene along with troopers from the Highway Patrol.
The crash is under investigation.
