A Pauline woman died Monday from injuries she suffered in a hit-and-run crash early Monday in Duval County, Fla.
Dolores M. Gunby was walking across U.S. Highway 90 at 12:34 a.m. Monday when she was struck by a vehicle, according to a statement from the Florida Highway Patrol.
After the collision, the vehicle fled the scene traveling westbound on Highway 90. Another pedestrian at the scene was struck and received minor injuries.
The case is still under investigation.
Investigators with the Florida Highway Patrol believe the suspect could have been in a 2016 to 2018 Honda Civic. The color of the vehicle is unknown.
