Edwards, MS : One person is hurt in a crash on Interstate 20 in Hinds County on Saturday night August 23rd 2014

One person was hurt in a crash on Interstate 20 in Hinds County on Saturday night. The crash happened about 10 p.m. near Edwards. Authorities with the Mississippi Highway Patrol said a Honda Civic drove across a median and hit a Ford F-250 pickup truck that was carrying a horse trailer. Investigators said a woman driving the car was taken to University Medical Center with multiple injuries. Her dog was in the car with her and died in the crash. No one in the truck was injured. The horses in the trailer were unloaded and taken to another location. The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. Source : 1 hurt, dog killed in I-20 crash
