Seattle, WA : Five people were hurt after a multiple-vehicle accident on southbound Interstate 5 on Friday morning August 15th 2014
Five people were hurt Friday morning after a multiple-vehicle accident on southbound Interstate 5 in downtown Seattle.
A Lincoln Town Car, a Toyota and a semi-truck collided in the right lane near South Spokane Street at 8:13 a.m., said Seattle Fire spokesman Kyle Moore. The most seriously hurt is a 37-year-old man who was not wearing a seatbelt, Moore said. It’s unclear which car he was in.
All five are being taken to Harborview Medical Center for minor injuries, Moore said. State Patrol spokesman Trooper Chris Webb said authorities are trying to help catch a dog that escaped from one of the cars involved.
Traffic on the West Seattle Bridge is severely impacted, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
