Meriden ,CT : One Motorcyclist killed after fatal motorcycle crash on Monday ,August 3rd 2015

A motorcyclist is dead after an early-morning accident in Meriden.

Police responding to an emergency call at about 1:20 a.m. Monday on River Road found a Harley Davidson in the roadway and the driver nearby.

The man, who police said was not wearing a helmet, suffered serious head injuries and was pronounced dead at a hospital. His name is being withheld pending notification of relatives.

The circumstances of the crash are under investigation.
