SCIO The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a single-vehicle crash early Wednesday in Harrison County that claimed the life of a Conneaut, Ohio, man.
According to troopers, a 2004 Chevrolet 3500 van, driven by Barry Anderson II, 27, was traveling westbound on state Route 646 between New Rumley and Scio at 12:48 a.m. when it went off the right side of the road, striking an embankment and overturning.
Anderson was partially ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers said Anderson was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
