Greenville, S.C : 82-year-old man killed in a crash in Greenville County early Monday morning, April 10, 2017

An 82-year-old man was killed in an early Monday morning crash on White Horse Road in Greenville County.

James F. Bryant, 82, of 204 White Horse Road Extension, died after his vehicle crossed several lanes of oncoming traffic and hit a large billboard sign post, according to a report from the Coroner's office.

Bryant was wearing a seat belt and became trapped inside the truck, according to the report.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
