Seattle, WA : Motorcyclist in funeral procession crashes on Saturday, August 26, 2017

A motorcyclist riding in a funeral procession Saturday died after his brakes locked up and caused him to crash, the Washington State Patrol said.
The 69-year-old was riding a black 2000 Yamaha XVS1100. No other vehicles were involved.
The procession was headed east on state Route 2 near Bickford Avenue in Snohomish County.
Officials attempted to perform life-saving measures on the motorcyclist but failed, Trooper Axtman with WSP said.
All eastbound lanes on SR 2 were closed for a number of hours.
