Yorktown, VA : Motorcyclist seriously injured in York County crash on Thursday morning, March 9, 2017
A motorcyclist is suffering life-threatening injuries after a crash in York County Thursday morning, an official said.
The crash happened about 7:20 a.m. at the intersection of Goosley and Old Williamsburg roads in Yorktown, according to Virginia State Police First Sgt. Kevin Barrick.
The man on the motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Old Williamsburg Road when a vehicle made a left turn in front of it striking the motorcyclist, Barrick said.
The woman in the vehicle was not injured, he said.
Alcohol was not a factor in the Barrack said. The incident appears to be accidental, he said.
