Beaumont, TX : Louisiana man dies in motorcycle accident on I-10 on Sunday, 6th November 2016

A Louisiana man died in a motorcycle accident on I-10 near Gator County on Sunday, Nov. 6. around 2:20 p.m., the Texas Department of Public Safety reports.

A 2015 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling eastbound in the inside lane of I-10. For an unknown reason, the driver lost control and veered to the left. The driver was ejected after the motorcycle crashed into the center cable barrier. The motorcycle came to rest in the center median.

The driver, 41-year-old Benjamin Todd Vienne of Louisiana, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The inside traffic lanes of Interstate 10 were closed in both directions. The crash scene has been cleared and the roadway has reopened.
