FAIRFIELD, CA : Fairfield man dies in Sonoma County vineyard accident on Tuesday, 1st May 2018

A Fairfield man died early Tuesday in what authorities suspect was a tractor accident on a Sonoma County vineyard.

The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office reports that Franklin Palacios Carrillo, 34, was trying to untangle vineyard wire that had become tangled in a tractor’s tilling tines when the tiller attachment dropped on him and crushed him. Another worker arrived at the scene and found Carrillo dead, his body trapped under the tiller. The worker notified authorities.
