Anderson County, SC : Driver injured when thrown from car in crash on Rodgers Road in West Pelzer on Sunday morning, July 3, 2016

South Carolina State troopers are investigating what led to a crash in which the driver was thrown from the car.

Trooper said the wreck happened Sunday morning on Rodgers Road in West Pelzer.

Crews at the scene told WYFF News 4 they believe the wreck happened hours before it was reported around 6:30 a.m.

Investigators have not identified the driver.
