Avon, IN : John McGuire, 18, killed in 1-car crash in Avon on Saturday night, Oct 10, 2015

A serious crash in Avon late Saturday night claimed the life of an 18-year-old.

John McGuire was pulled from a one-car crash on US-36 near Shiloh Crossing Drive around 11:30 p.m. His car had crashed into a traffic signal post near the intersection.

McGuire was taken to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

McGuire graduated with the 2015 class of Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis.
