MENAHGA, MN : Menahga man dies after crashing snowmobile into oncoming car on Wednesday, 9th January 2019

A Menahga man has died after crashing a snowmobile into a car around 7 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Jesse Jones, 46, was driving in the ditch of Highway 71 when he tried to leave and get onto the shoulder of the highway. Jones ended up going into the northbound lane and was hit by a car.

Jones was wearing a helmet. He died on scene.
