Two people were hospitalized after a three-vehicle crash on US 19 in Palm Harbor.

It happened around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday night, near U.S. 19 and Tampa Road southbound.

Palm Harbor Fire Rescue officials say a vehicle going northbound lost control, veered into the southbound lanes, and hit two vehicles.

A total of nine people needed medical treatment at the scene, but only two were transported to area hospitals.

One of those people has life-threatening injuries.
