Gainesville, MO : Woman injured in Monday car crash on Monday, 21st September 2016

Marilyn E. Werk, 79, of Midway, Arkansas, was transported by ambulance to Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas, Monday after she was injured in a one-vehicle accident. According to an online crash report filed by Missouri State Highway Patrol Cpl. D. J. Johnson, Werk was traveling westbound on Highway 160 about 4 miles east of Tecumseh at 3:50 p.m. when the 2011 Chevy Malibu she was driving traveled off the right side of the road, struck a culvert, a ditch and three trees. The vehicle was moderately damaged and was towed from the scene. It is unknown if she was wearing a seat belt.
