Driver Falls Asleep on Highway and Crashes into Tree

A man fell asleep in his car on the way to work, went off the road and crashed into a tree early Tuesday morning in Galt.
The accident happened on northbound I-99 near the Twin Cities Road off-ramp.
The man has cuts to his face and is expected to live.
Traffic in the area is now clear.
