CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC : Identity of victim released in fatal Ladson crash on Wednesday, 26th June 2024

The passenger who died in a crash Wednesday has now been identified.
The Charleston County Coroner’s Office has identified 20-year-old Juan Garcia of Guatemala as the victim of the crash.
The incident occurred just before 1 p.m. Wednesday between two vehicles along Highway 78 near Wisteria Street in Ladson.
Initial investigation shows the driver of the first car was turning left onto Highway 78 from Wisteria Street when they collided with the driver of the second car which was already traveling on the highway.
