Emmett , ID : Five people were injured after Two Vehicle Car crash on Sunday evening , January 11th 2015
A two-car crash in Emmett sent five people to the hospital Sunday afternoon.
The crash happened shortly before 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Highway 52 and Highway 16.
According to Idaho State Police, 25-year-old Katie Ruth was driving east on Highway 52, and failed to yield to oncoming traffic as she was turning into a parking lot. Investigators say she was struck by a car driving west on Highway 52.
Ruth, who is from Weiser, and two juvenile passengers were taken to Walter Knox Memorial Hospital in Emmett. Troopers say the driver of the other car, 59-year-old Sergey Sikorsky of Emmett, and his passenger, were taken to St. Alphonsus in Boise.
No word on injuries at this time
