A father and his 9-year-old son were among the people killed in fiery crash on Interstate 26 on Saturday.
The crash involved two vehicles and a tanker truck carrying gasoline and diesel fuel.
South Carolina Department of Transportation officials said the truck overturned and caught fire.
The Spartanburg County Coroner's office identified two of the victims as John Fink, 31, and his son James Fink, 9, of Zirconia, North Carolina.
The other victim was identified as Donna Bailey from Maryville, Tennessee.
A fourth person was severely burned and airlifted to the hospital.
The crash left both westbound lanes closed for more than 24 hours.
SCDOT crews worked overnight to repair the asphalt damaged in the fire.
The road fully reopened around 7:00 p.m. Sunday.
