Alexandria, KY : Police ID 2 killed in crash on AA Highway in Alexandria on Tuesday, 31st July 2018

Campbell County police have identified the two people killed and in a two-vehicle crash on AA Highway on Tuesday evening.

The crash happened Tuesday around 4:40 p.m. between Stonehouse and Ridgewood in Alexandria.

Authorities say a 1998 Toyota Corolla heading south crossed the center median and struck a 2016 Chevrolet Suburban.

The driver of the Corolla, Tyler Stamper, 27, and passenger Carrie Friesland, 48, both of California, Kentucky, were pronounced dead at the scene by the Campbell County coroner.

Authorities say a second female passenger in that vehicle, who was sitting in the back seat, was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Police did not give an update to her condition.

The driver of the Suburban was taken to Christ Hospital for a medical evaluation, authorities said. Police did not give an update on his condition.

The Campbell County Major Accident Reconstruction Team is investigating the collision.
