WESTVILLE, FL : 2 ejected, 1 dies in Westville rollover accident on Saturday, December 3rd, 2016

A 19-year-old Westville man died after a vehicle wreck early Saturday morning in Holmes County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).Joseph Johnson, from Westville, was traveling north on County Road 185 when his vehicle went off the road and into a ditch off the west shoulder, FHP reported. The vehicle went into the air after colliding with a dirt embankment and overturned several times after landing. While it was overturning, Johnson was ejected and ended up north of the vehicle, FHP said.

Passenger Brandon Schmidt, 21, from DeFuniak Springs, ended up pinned under the vehicle after he also was ejected, FHP reported. He sustained critical injuries and was taken to Southeast Medical.
