Duluth, MN : Driver arrested after man struck, killed while crossing parking lot in Duluth on Saturday afternoon, December 19, 2015

A 37-year-old man died after he was hit by a motorist while crossing a parking lot in Duluth Saturday afternoon.
Authorities say the incident happened in the area of Grand Avenue and Main Street around 4:15 p.m.
The pedestrian was hit by a 27-year-old male driver and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Duluth Police.
The driver was arrested and charges are pending.
The name of the victim is not yet released pending family notification.
