JUPITER, FL : 11-year-old killed in crash in Jupiter, officials said on Monday, 16th November, 2020

An 11-year-old girl is one of the people who was killed in a crash in Jupiter Monday evening, officials said.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, the incident happened on Randolph Siding Road.Officials said a car was traveling eastbound at a high rate of speed.

A second car was traveling westbound on the same road and was trying to turn south into a driveway. As that car tried to turn, that car traveling eastbound crashed into the second car.

As the crash happened, the driver was ejected from the first car, and the car came to rest within a drainage canal, where he was pronounced dead.

That victim was identified as Matthew Vetter, 32.

A passenger sitting in the second car was killed as a result of the impact.

She was identified as 11-year-old Charlotte Carver.

Two other people in that car were taken to the hospital with injuries.
