Nashville,TN : 4 injured in crash after driver speeds away from police on April, wednesday 26th 2017

Four people are in the hospital after a driver sped away from police trying to conduct a traffic stop on Music Row. The crash that happened at Edgehill Avenue and 17th Avenue South may end up being fatal. Metro police's fatal team was called to the scene just in case.

Utility crews are working to replace a power pole was knocked down during the incident.

When you see this crash, it's hard to believe anyone in the car survived.

This scary situation started around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday when police tried to pull a driver over for a traffic violation, but the driver sped off instead. That's when witnesses say the car crashed into an SUV.

A women who was in the suspect's car is being treated at Vanderbilt University Medical Center for life-threatening injuries. The driver of the SUV has non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the car reportedly had an outstanding warrant. Police said drugs were found in the vehicle.

17th Avenue South remains closed at Edgehill Avenue as crews work to clear the scene.
