Freeport, NY : Merrick woman died after her motorcycle struck by another car in Freeport on Sunday night, May 3, 2015

Police say a motorcyclist ejected from her bike after colliding with a center divider was then struck by a motorist who also hit a driver who came to the woman's aid.

Nassau County police say the 52-year-old motorcyclist was pronounced dead at a hospital following Sunday night's accident.

The other driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries to his neck and head.

The accident happened on Mill Road near Merrick Road in Freeport.
