RICHFIELD SPRINGS, NY : Fatal motor vehicle accident in Otsego County on April, Sunday 16th 2017

State police are on the scene of a fatal motor vehicle accident in Otsego County, a state police spokesman says.

Police are currently investigating a late Monday morning fatal motor vehicle collision that occurred on State Route 20, in Richfield Springs.

“The roadway is closed and is being directed to Skinner Road, then Fenton Road, then Stafford Road and then back on State Route 20,” wrote Trooper Nathan Riegal, a spokesman for Troop C in Sidney, via email.

“This will be for an unknown amount of time this afternoon,” wrote Riegal, “I have no additional information at this time.”
