CHASE COUNTY, KS : Central Kansas highway crash leaves one adult one juvenile dead on Friday, 27th October 2023

Two people were killed in a crash Friday morning on Highway 50 in eastern Chase County.

The report of a "significant crash" between a semi-truck and a vehicle occurred at 6:04 a.m., the Kansas Highway Patrol said, and several troopers and emergency personnel responded to the scene.

The Chase County Sheriff said 29-year-old Maria Munoz Alonso from Kansas City, KS and a juvenile passenger were killed in the crash.
