The northbound lanes of Country Club Boulevard closed for about four hours early Tuesday after a car crashed into a home.

Kaitlin French, of Cape Coral, was driving a 1997 Toyota 4-Runner SUV north on the 4300 block of Country Club Boulevard when made sharp left in the road, over corrected and lost control of her vehicle, according to a Cape Coral Police news release.

French's vehicle left the roadway and continued across the front lawn and parking lot a residence owned by Kelsey W. Furlow, 47, of Cape Coral, at 2:38 a.m
