Newport, AR : 36-year-old Jason Ligons died in vehicle crash Highway 17 on Sunday October 18 2015

Arkansas State Police say a Newport man was killed when the vehicle he was driving crashed into a tree.
A state police report says 36-year-old Jason Ligons died in the Sunday accident.
The report says Ligons was northbound on Highway 17 when his vehicle went off the road and into a ditch, then struck a tree.The report says the road was dry and the weather clear at the time of the crash.
