Pasadena ,MD : 28- years old man injured he crashed his vehicle at the Route 10 and Route 100 merge area on Monday morning ,April 20 2015

A 28-year-old man was seriously injured early Monday morning when he crashed his vehicle at the Route 10 and Route 100 merge area in Pasadena.

When county firefighters responded to the crash at around 12:15 a.m., they discovered a vehicle had left the roadway and entered the woods, said county fire department Capt. Russ Davies.

The driver was briefly trapped, Davies said, but was extricated in less than 10 minutes.

The man was transported by paramedics to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with injuries that were considered serious but not life-threatening, Davies said.
