UNION COUNTY, NC : Coroner identifies driver killed in wreck on Tuesday, 16th February 2021

A driver is dead following a crash in Union County Tuesday night, according to Master Trooper Gary Miller with the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

According to the SCHP site, the accident happened just before 6:30 p.m. near SC 105.

A driver of a pickup truck was traveling north when they veered off the left side of the road and struck a tree, Miller said.

According to Miller, the driver was not wearing a seat belt.

The coroner has identified the victim as William C. Martin, 55, of Jonesville.
