Man charged for sister's death in motorcycle crash
A woman was killed in a deadly motorcycle crash on Georgia 400 early Saturday morning and her brother is being charged for her dead while police search for a second vehicle that ran her over.Roswell Police tell FOX 5 News that it happened on Georgia 400 near Holcomb Bridge Road around 1:30 a.m. when a motorcycle driver hit a median wall. Sarah Howell, 28 of Alpharetta, was ejected from the bike. She was struck by an SUV and was killed at the scene.The driver of the motorcycle, David Neil Howell, was also thrown from the bike. He was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. He was arrested upon his release and charged with Homicide by Vehicle in the first degree, DUI, Reckless Driving, Failure to Maintain Lane, and Violation of Motor Cycle Instructional Permit License.Investigators are trying to find the black 2005 Jeep Liberty that was involved in the crash. Anyone with further information can call the Roswell Police Department at 770-640-4100.Around the same time as the Roswell crash, East Point Police were investigating another fatal motorcycle accident on Interstate 285 southbound between Camp Creek Parkway and Washington Road. They say Kendrick Brown, 38, of Smyrna, and William Small, 48, of Lithia Springs were both killed when two motorcycles and two cars ended up in an accident.A third fatal motorcycle accident happened Friday night just before 10:30 p.m. on Cobb Pkwy South at Polytechnic Lane. Cobb County Police say Shawn Head, 46, of Winston, left the road and lost control. He was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital where he later died.
