LAKE COUNTY, FL : 26-year-old man killed after losing control of truck on Saturday, October, 7th 2017

A 26-year-old man was killed in a crash early Saturday morning.

The crash occurred around 4:10 a.m. Saturday at SR 46 and Colfax Avenue.

Troppers said a Nissan pickup was traveling westbound on SR 46 when for an unknown reason, the driver lost control of the truck and left the roadway.

The left side of the truck struck an electric box and overturned. Troopers said the roof of the truck then hit a tree.

The crash remains under investigation.
