LAS VEGAS, NV : Driver hits kills woman in southeast Las Vegas hit-and-run crash on Thursday, 20th June 2024

A woman is dead following a hit-and-run in the southeast valley on Thursday night.

Officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to the hit-and-run crash at the intersection of Boulder Highway and Mayorga Street, near Desert Inn Road. Around 10:54 p.m., a female pedestrian was crossing Boulder Highway from east to west outside a marked crosswalk, while an unknown vehicle was traveling north.

The woman entered the roadway and was struck by the unknown vehicle, which fled the scene shortly after.

Arriving emergency medical services determined that the woman died at the scene.
