Charlotte, NC : Deputy's cruiser involved in I-77 crash on Thursday afternoon, April 14, 2016

A Wilson County deputy was involved in a crash on I-77 Thursday afternoon.

The crash happened near the Nations Ford Road exit at mile marker 3.

MEDIC says initial reports were that there were minor injuries.

Officials have released few details about what led up to the crash.
