An 8-year-old girl has died after the vehicle she was riding in collided with a logging truck in Lexington County.
Coroner Margaret Fisher says Kalieah Richardson of Batesburg was pronounced dead Friday evening at the hospital where she was taken after Thursday's crash. The girl was sitting in the front seat when the crash occurred on North Lee Street in Batesburg-Leesville.
Batesburg-Leesville police and the Highway Patrol are still investigating the accident.
