WEISER, ID : 2 killed, 2 children injured in head-on crash near Weiser on U.S. Highway 95 near Sunnyside Road on Sunday, 14th July 2019

Two people were killed and three injured in a head-on collision Sunday near Weiser.

Idaho State Police investigated the crash at about 9:36 a.m. Sunday on U.S. Highway 95 near Sunnyside Road, south of Weiser.Police say Christine Dove, 48, of Weiser was driving a 2010 Toyota Corolla south on the highway when she drifted off the right shoulder, overcorrected and came back onto the roadway continuing into the northbound lane. The vehicle collided head-on with 71-year-old Lois Bridge’s 2008 Ford Escape traveling north.

Christine Dove, and her passenger, Roy Dove, 67, of Weiser died at the scene. Two juvenile passengers in Dove’s car were taken by ground ambulance to Weiser Memorial Hospital. Bridge was taken by air ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.

Everyone except Roy Dove was wearing seat belts, according to police.

ISP is investigating this crash, which left both lanes of the highway blocked for about four hours.
