Waukee, IA : A crash involving a cement truck has stopped traffic on westbound I-80 on Friday, 6th September 2019 7 hours ago

Westbound Interstate Highway 80 traffic was blocked Friday afternoon at Waukee between Grand Prairie Parkway, Exit 118, and County Road R22, Exit 117, because of a crash, the Iowa Department of Transportation said.

Images of the crash from about 1:30 p.m. show a cement truck overturned with traffic backed up behind it. A detour is now in operation.
