Parsons, KS : Erie woman dies in accident north of Brazilton on Friday morning, April 7, 2017

A 22-year-old Erie woman died Friday morning in a one-vehicle rollover accident north of Brazilton.
Kaitlyn L. Shultz was pronounced dead at the scene Friday morning.
According to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department, officers and an ambulance were called at 6:30 a.m. Friday to the accident on K-3 near West 670th Avenue.
Deputies determined that Shultz was driving her 2012 Jeep Liberty southbound on K-3, when her vehicle left the roadway and entered the west ditch. Shultz then overcorrected while attempting to regain control of the vehicle, causing the vehicle to roll several times.
Shultz was not wearing her seatbelt and was ejected.
This accident remains under investigation by the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.
