Memphis,TN : One killed, one injured in Lawrence County crash on May, Saturday 12th 2018

A Greene County woman died and another person was injured Saturday in a vehicle/motorcycle crash, according to a preliminary fatal crash summary from Arkansas State Police.

Cynthia Robertson of Paragould was a passenger on an Aprilia RSV4 motorcycle when the crash happened around 2:45 p.m. Saturday on U.S. 63 in Lawrence County.

The motorcycle was going south on U.S. 63 when the crash happened.

"Vehicle 1 (a 2014 Toyota RAV 4) was traveling in the outside traffic lane and V2 (the motorcycle) was traveling in the inside traffic lane. Vehicle 1 attempted to make a U-turn in front of Vehicle 2," Corporal Aaron Easley said in the report. "The front of vehicle 2 collided with the left front of vehicle 1."

The driver of the motorcycle was taken to a Memphis hospital, ASP noted.
