RIDGELAND, MS : Men crash vehicle into Ridgeland store, try to steal ATM on Highway 51 on Thursday, 31st January 2019

A Ridgeland convenience store owner said three men in a vehicle crashed into his business and tried to steal an ATM.The incident was caught on surveillance video about 1 a.m. Thursday at Mac's Gas on Highway 51, the owner said.

The front window was shattered and bricks from the storefront were scattered all around. The ATM was seriously damaged, but the thieves were forced to leave it behind.The store was closed at the time of the break-in, so no one was injured, authorities said.
