BUTTE LA ROSE, LA : 18-wheelers crashed on the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge on Monday, 26th August 2019

Louisiana's major east-west interstate remains closed after five 18-wheelers crashed on the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge.

Louisiana State Police initially reported no fatalities as a result of Monday's wreck, however, one body was later discovered on the scene.
