SPENCER, MA : 1 killed, 2 seriously injured in fiery crash on Route 49 in Spencer on Saturday, 15th December 2018

A fiery two-vehicle crash on Route 49 Friday night claimed the life of Cole Victor, 25, of 266 Main St., and badly injured two others, police said.

The crash was reported at 9:37 p.m., near Putnam Road, and involved a sedan being driven by Mr. Victor and a pickup truck, Spencer police said on the department’s Facebook page. The sedan was owned by Mr. Victor’s girlfriend, Toni Doldo, 23, also of of 266 Main St., who was a passenger in the vehicle. She was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, police said.

They said the truck was fully engulfed in flames. It was being driven by Erik Anderson, 40, of 28 Lakeview Drive. Several good Samaritans stopped and helped Mr. Anderson from his burning vehicle. He was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, police said.
